The Association of Kosovo Municipalities in coordination with the Information Society Agency (ISA), the Ministry of Local Government Administration and with the support of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo organized the training workshop on the new websites of the Municipalities.
The several-day workshop served to train municipal officials in the use of the CMS (Website Content Management System).
This workshop also addressed the digitalization of municipal services through the eKosova platform, where through the interoperability of central platforms, duplicate work for municipal institutions will be eliminated.
This training workshop was attended by Municipal Information/Communication Officers and Municipal IT Officers, while the training was held by trainers from the Company that developed the new Municipalities’ websites.
Municipal Officers, representatives of ISA and the implementing Company agreed that the data migration would be partially completed for the municipalities within a week, while the Municipalities would also be provided with explanatory videos and a guide for data processing.
After this workshop and the implementation of all phases of their data migration, within December, the new websites of the Municipalities of Kosovo are expected to be launched.
These websites will enable the advancement of transparency in the Municipalities and the provision of better services to their citizens.
